Z Z Top – worked with art director Bill Narum

 Doug performed the song “TUSH” by ZZ Top in the film, “Bucket List” with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, Directed by Rob Reiner

Lucinda Williams – Houston based band together; shared a bill with Clifton Chenier

Rod Stewart – keyboard tech and steel drummer

Delbert McClinton – played keyboards on east coast tour opening for the Allman Brothers

Van Dyke Parks – 1st AFM session – steel drums with live orchestra – still working with him

Brian Wilson – background vocalist on his and Van Dyke Parks collaboration album “Orange Crate Art”

Peter Ivers – steel drums in his band “Iver’s Divers”

E.L.O. – keyboard tech

Barry Manilow – keyboard tech

Kinky Friedman – played keyboards

Jackson Browne – keyboard tech 

Stevie Nicks – keyboard tech

Boz Skaggs – keyboard tech

Billy Joel – keyboard tech and played piano on special occasions 

Simon and Garfunkel – keyboard tech

Delaney Bramlett – played B3 Hammond organ

Ziggy Modeliste – Ziggy played drums with my steel drum band “The Chili Steel Band”

Ry Cooder – keyboard tech – Ry played accordion and guitar on my “King Cake Party” album

David Lindley – David played guitar and other instruments on my “King Cake Party” album

Jim Keltner – Jim produced and performed on my “King Cake Party” album

Freebo – Freebo was a member of The Zydeco Party Band & produced and performed on my “King Cake Party” album

Jim Wilson –  accordionist on his “Cape of Good Hope” album

Ricky Lee Jones – keyboard tech and keyboardist on tour

Bruce Hornsby – keyboard tech

The Tubes – keyboard tech and played synthesizers – I enlisted the band to work on “Hey You”

Utopia – keyboard tech

Todd Rundgren – singer on tour “A Capella”  – Todd produced and performed on my album “Hey You!”

Eliza Gilkyson – piano on her “Through The Looking Glass“ album

Oingo Boingo – keyboard tech, accordionist, percussionist  and background vocalist

Dick Clark – “The Late Mr. Pete Show”

Jim Henson – “Muppets Tonight”

The Neville Brothers – opened for them in Europe and Japan

Sir Paul McCartney – accordionist and background vocalist 

Grant Geissman – accordionist on his album “Bop! Bang! Boom!” Album – Grant played for several years with The Zydeco Party Band and was the guitarist on their album  “The Gumbo Brotherhood”
